About Us

Lereko Furniture Manufacturers (Pty) Limited is a wholly Black Woman Owned and managed enterprise established by Roberta Magagula in June 2012. Roberta, who is descended from a long line of cabinet makers, has been operating in the furniture manufacturing industry since 2006.

The company is a member of the Furniture, Bedding and Upholstering Manufacturers’ Association (FBUMA). It is also registered with the Furniture Bargaining Council, a state institution which regulates the furniture manufacturing industry. Lereko Manufacturing is one of eleven woman owned manufacturers and one of two Black woman owned furniture manufacturers registered with FBUMA.

The Furniture Manufacturing Industry is regulated by the Department of Labour via the Furniture Bargaining Council (FBC). All furniture manufacturers have a legal obligation to register themselves as well as their employees with the FBC. Our employees are all registered with the FBC. Most of our employees are members of the National Union of Furniture and Allied Workers Union (NUFAWSA) which we see as a constructive stakeholder in positive employee relations.

Manufacturing from our well equipped factory premises in Industria, Johannesburg, we deliver and install throughout Gauteng and, where required, throughout South Africa. Our services include space planning and custom designing to suit the corporate needs and requirements of our customers. Our team consists of 4 technical designers, 2 project managers, and 2 customer relationship managers supported by qualified and trained artisans and administrators. Our team ensures a smooth and pleasant experience for our customers.
